“ I loooove Nanos! I tried eating out on a Saturday when the Hawaiian Barbecue meals were available and it was very very worth it. Its very filling and I finished the whole meal by myself. I had the one with the chicken and pork, and Id probably go back to try some other stuff. Staff were very friendly too. Al fresco dining is so pretty. Although I wanted to sit near the grill outside, I just wasnt able to because it was filled. Overall, would come back here again!! ”

“ The workers, the food, and the atmosphere are what makes this place amazing. The husband and wife who own this place are very down to earth people and are always greeting you with a smile. The Kalua pork and BBQ chicken were some of the best eats we had and the dole whip float was the best way to top it off. So good its where we ate for two days straight. And the atmosphere makes it feel like youre at a family BBQ in the backyard. Definitely will return soon! ”

“ We came to Half Moon Bay for a sunny beach day and like many days everywhere, but Half Moon Bay was sunny. Nano made the day and is now the food place we think of when we visit. Go in the back and eat your food. The Hawaiian owner is often back there grilling up food in the afternoon. Incredible guy and large portions. Solid BBQ ”

“ Theres not enough 5 stars for me in these reviews... Ive gone here 3 times with different family members friends. Its become a go to spot in Half Moon Bay I miss Hawaii and whenever I come here and sit on their patio eating their delicious food it takes me back and its like theres a little piece of Hawaii in California. The chicken bowls, shrimp bowl and the 2 for 9 spam masubis NEVER disappoint. Not to mention the best and kind service it was so sweet hearing them play reggae and talk about how much of a beautiful day it was while serving us yummy food. Thank you guys! Will come back soon in the summer xx p.s to the guy complaining they were closed on Tuesday god forbid they have a break in the middle of the week! lol ppl forget humanity. “ Amazing food! The beer garden out back is a perfect oasis to grab a beer and relax. We ordered the chicken and steak plate cooked and seasoned to perfection. I still dream about it. ”

“ The price seemed high in the beginning around 30 dollars each before tax, but after we got it, we agreed it was totally worth it. The plate was big with a lot of meat. I could finish only 60 of the meat. The food was delicious and the staff is pretty friendly. We can seat outside, in the back of the main entrance which is a nice place, with the staff preparing the barbecue. Feels like a Sunday barbecue at the backyard. ”

“ Amazing hidden gem in downtown Half moon bay. There is a large patio in the back where you can directly walk in to order food and enjoy the ambiance with sunlight and shades. Their chicken bbq is amazingly juicy and delicious, I got two more orders after clearing a dish of wipeout which was a combo dish of all the meats which was also awesome. Kid friendly for a casual lunch, friendly chef and staffs, loved it! ”
